For the past couple of weeks, my family and I have been in the great state of Arizona. We've already had the opportunity to present our ministry in a handful of churches, and we have a few more meetings scheduled before this month ends. One of the churches we attended was Sun and Shield Baptist Church in Marana, AZ. The church was putting on their annual missions conference, and we had the privilege of being a part of it. There were four missionaries present, including a family going to London, England. Each night, one of the missionaries presented their ministry, and another gave a testimony of their salvation and calling. The keynote speaker was a veteran missionary to Mexico. We really enjoyed meeting the other missionaries, and the people of the church. And, we especially enjoyed the fellowship and the meals!

Last week, we were able to go and see the Grand Canyon. It was about a two hour drive from the hotel we were staying in, so it was too good an opportunity to pass up! The weather was unbelievable, with the temperature in the mid 60s, and the views were spectacular! We were once again reminded of the creative power of our God (and perhaps the destructive power of the Flood)! Harry and I liked to get up close to the edge and look down into the canyon, but Tab liked to keep her distance.
It's hard to believe that it's January, let alone winter! The weather has been so nice, with temperatures in the 60's and low 70's in the southern part of the state. Even in the northern part of Arizona it's been nice, as well. Lord willing, we'll be in Arizona until the end of this month, before heading into New Mexico. Please keep us in your prayers!
