The last couple of weeks have been very busy for us! Let me start at the beginning...

Two weeks ago, we had the privilege of attending the missions conference hosted by Pastor Tom Corkish at Anchor Baptist Church in Salt Lake City, UT. The theme for the missions conference was "The Seed is the Word." The whole church was decorated with farming equipment, and all everyone was dressed like farmers - including the missionaries! I've been so used to preaching in a suit, that it felt kinda funny preaching in overalls! But, in the end, we had a very good time. If you can't have fun in the house of God, where can you have fun?

Salt Lake City is a very beautiful part of our country. The views of the mountains were just magnificent. You could almost forget that there are over 1 million people living in that area, most of whom are duped by the false teachings of Mormonism. Our trip to Salt Lake just served to remind us of how many mission fields there are right here in America! Praise the Lord for men like Brother Corkish and others who are willing to take the gospel to places like Salt Lake City.
After the conference in Salt Lake City, we packed up our things and headed toward Colorado Springs, CO. Our route took us back through part of Wyoming, and into a blizzard. At one point, we were stuck in traffic for about an hour. It seems that an RV and small car had gotten into an accident. Thanks to the prayers of our parents and people at our sending church, we were soon able to get under way again.

While in Colorado Springs, we were able to attend a missions conference hosted by Brother Allen Payne, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Peaceful Valley. There were four missionaries present, including a family from Wales, UK
(on the left) that were going back to the UK to plant Baptist Churches.

Each night, one of the missionaries gave a testimony, one presented his ministry, and one preached.
Aside from the things I've mentioned above, I also went on visitation, preached at the nursing home, and taught in the children's church. Needless to say, we kept very busy. Praise the Lord for the opportunities to serve!
For the rest of this month, and the first couple of weeks of December, we'll be in Colorado. Please pray for us, that the Lord would continue bringing in our support, and using us to His honor and glory!
